The word Feminism is a tough word. Even though 82% of people believe in equality only 20% of Americans will call themselves a feminist. And only 6% of Americans even realize women don’t have it according to our constitution.
That’s a problem.

Best way I know? Educate yourself, your friends and family, and vote for like minded candidates. (a little research will quickly show that in this moment of our history, that means vote blue)
Feminism is a tough word, but it doesn’t have to be. Time to reclaim it from those who seek to keep the status quo. I will say I see the young people talking about it, and I think that’s a damn good start.
We’ll have arrived when there’s not need for the word feminist. There will just be equality and the rest of the people will be sexists. Because they are.
