Feminist Twitter is a great place to go for both info and laughs. Here’s a dozen examples from this week.
Let’s start off with a common and tired attack on women by men and……. a perfect response to it.
This type of attempted insult only works on low self-esteem conservative Stepford wives. It is not effective on empowered adult women living their best lives. Take a good look, dude, and take a seat. Take several seats. pic.twitter.com/z1rkHnuCgb

Wouldn’t that be lovely?
My ideal feminism is the kind where its no longer a thing to be a feminist – equality is just the baseline default.

The Patriarchy runs deep.
In patriarchy, the dichotomy is men over women. Emasculated men are denied the "superiority" of masculinity. Removing femininity cannot debase the bottom rung any further.
Instead women who take on traditionally masculine norms/roles are pathologised as abnormal.

They are attempting to overwrite history, because that history, is bad.
The National Archives deliberately blurred the words "vagina" and "pussy," along with anti-trump signs because the president is a fucking rapist and they thought best to erase what women have to say about it from history, thus erasing his crimes. It's dangerously anti-women. https://t.co/avAc0KGZP7

And then we have the #tradwife movement. Take 5 minutes and watch the video. Better yet, read the comments.

This gives me chills that we need this. It makes me happy women have it.
When providers get it right.
Homicide is a leading cause of death for women under 40, and nearly half of these victims are killed by a male intimate partner. It’s so important that nurses and doctors are trained to help protect women from immediate harm. This is #publichealth. pic.twitter.com/4mFMwBoyJb

This week marked 47 years of legal abortion. If we don’t all vote blue every damned chance we get, we won’t have many more.
47 years ago today, the Supreme Court recognized a woman’s right to choose in Roe v. Wade. To this day, Republicans are determined to turn back the clock to when women were dying from unsafe abortions. But we won’t let them—we must keep up the fight for reproductive justice.

It's not consent, when women are terrified to say no.
It's not justice, when women are afraid to report.
It's not free speech, when women are silenced.
It's not human rights, when women are unprotected.
It's not rocket science, why women have had enough.

Just dropping this observation here.
men: women are natural caregivers. it’s in their biology to tend to their family. men are more biologically suited to be breadwinners.
men: why the FUCK did my whore wife get custody of the kids? why is the judge making me pay child support? men have absolutely no rights!

Well well well. Thanks Kobe. This is huge. Although I still wish you didn’t rape that girl and so that makes me feel conflicted. But NOT about how the ladies play b-ball.
Kobe Bryant said he believes that there are three WNBA players who could play in the NBA right now.https://t.co/ciDiOjQIeI

The Pink Tax…..again…..of course…….
Read about the pretty tax here.
In the U.S., women's yearly health expenses are more than 80% higher than men's. Women also receive lower-quality treatment and are more likely to be told that their pain is simply a result of "emotional stress." It doesn't have to be this way. https://t.co/ZjEtBXgniH

And we’ll wrap with a twofer.
- Greece elected it’s first ever female President!
- She uses a Notorious RBG mug for her pencil cup!
Katerina Sakellaropoulou, a top jurist who was just elected as #Greece's first female President, has a "Notorious RBG" mug in her office — a wordplay of the greatest rapper of all time, and an ode to the women's rights icon and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. ⚖️✌️ pic.twitter.com/dNNPnCQrYY
